Colorado Agriculture
News Network
Who: The Rocky Mountain Farmers Union is a group made up of agriculture
producers who work toward bettering the agriculture industry in Colorado,
Wyoming and New Mexico. With its mission, Safe Healthy Food Begins with
Secure Profitable Farm and Ranch Families, the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union is
the regional branch of the National Farmers Union. Not only does this group lobby
at the local legislature, they also have instituted a CO-OP division that works to help
producers achieve their business and financial goals. With over 23-thousand
members spanning these three states, I invite you to add the Radioline Report to
your programming line-up.
The report will be produced and hosted by Lorrie Boyer. I have been a farm
broadcaster in the Midwest for 8 years and am fluent in agriculture issues. I also
have experience in sales and have held the program director title, so I know how
radio works and I firmly believe that radio is key to information delivery.
Content: The program will feature key industry officials, project leaders, farmers and
ranchers that will not only inform your ag audience but the general public as well.
Issue coverage will highlight legislative bills, water, land use, wildlife, food, consumer
outlooks, special events and projects in all three states.
You are welcome and encouraged to sell the report to local sponsors. The local
Farmers Union Insurance Representative is the ideal candidate.
Programming: The report length is 2 minutes. It will be available by 2 P.M.
Mountain Time every Thursday, with the exception of holidays. The program may
be downloaded at www.coagnews.com or www.rmfu.org. You may opt to air the
program at any time of the day, any day of the week.
Please take a listen to the demo available on the websites. I will follow up with a
phone call in the next few weeks. If you have questions or need further information,
please contact me at 970-842-3842 or 719-688-7810.
We look forward to joining your programming team.
